THINGS WE NEVER SAID
THINGS WE NEVER SAID by PAREKHIT BHATTACHARJEE is an intimate collection of short stories that explores silence, memory, longing, love, grief, identity, and the emotions people often struggle to express.
The collection looks beyond dramatic events and finds meaning in ordinary moments—an unfinished conversation, a familiar place, a quiet gesture, or a memory that unexpectedly returns.
THE LANGUAGE OF SILENCE
At the heart of the book is the idea that silence can carry its own language. Some feelings remain unspoken, some questions never receive answers, and some conversations exist only in our memories.
Through understated storytelling, PAREKHIT BHATTACHARJEE gives these experiences space, allowing readers to connect with the emotions beneath the surface.
MEMORY AND LOSS
Memory plays an important role throughout the collection. The stories explore how certain moments, words, and relationships can remain with us long after they have passed.
The book also approaches grief and absence through everyday experiences, showing that loss does not always need to be dramatic to leave a lasting impact.
LOVE IN QUIET MOMENTS
Love appears in different forms throughout the stories—not only through romance, but also through affection, connection, remembrance, and the things people do for one another without always putting them into words.
The collection suggests that sometimes what remains unsaid can be just as meaningful as what is spoken.
